In 2020 the Government pledged more than £400 million to eradicate dormitory accommodation from mental health facilities across the country to improve safety, privacy and dignity of patients experiencing mental illness. Significant national and local investment of more than £150m has been allocated for the development of new facilities across Derbyshire which we have invested in new mental health facilities.
