New assessment staff |
Hi My name is Helen and I work as part of the new assessment team. I make sure all the information is available for the nurses to do their the assessments with the families. I do this by contacting schools and other agencies. I also summarise all the health information on the child’s record. I am a learning disabilities nurse and have worked for many years in that area. I love my job and enjoy talking to and supporting families on the phone and also meeting some of you at the new assessment appointments. |
New assessment staff |
Hi, I’m Ali and I carry out the assessments with children, young people, and their families. After many years of working, I still think the best part of my job is meeting young people. You may or may not have ADHD, but through chatting we can share the interesting stuff and try and understand where things have become tricky and offer some help and advice. |
We have other staff within the team who you may also have contact with. They may see you for a new assessment or with support over the phone whilst you are waiting for assessment. There is also an operational and clinical lead who is predominantly not patient facing.
