Opening hours: Wednesday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
The service provides specialist group programmes for individuals who are predominantly over the age of 65 and are experiencing a range of mental health difficulties.
We also host regular question and answer evenings alternating between the Dovedale and Midway Day Service sites.
The care team consists of mental health nurses, occupational therapists and nursing assistants.
We also have links with other professionals such as GPs, community mental health teams, social workers and physiotherapists that we can access should you require further support whilst attending the service.
Whilst attending the Specialist Day Service you will be allocated a named professional who will be responsible for your care.
Dovedale Specialist Day Service is based in Derby, running on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for clients from Derby City (North and South), South Derbyshire and the Derbyshire Dales areas. However, the service is flexible and we can accommodate your preference of location for attending the group therapies. Transport to and from the day hospital can also be arranged, if required.
